How to find profitable Odinfun wallets and copy trade them

In that article, I’ll explain how to find profitable Odinfun wallets and copy trade them. I’ll attach some examples and tools and share my strategies.

If you don’t know what Odinfun is, you should go and try it before reading this article.

Copy trading pros

  1. Focus on finding smart wallets rather than analysing every token individually

  2. You can configure your copy trading config for a safer or more aggressive strategy

  3. Less time spent on trading in general

  4. Can follow multiple traders and experiment with the configs to make more profits with lower risk

Copy trading cons

  1. Smart wallets might change once in a few days, and you should keep your config up to date

  2. Previous trading history does not guarantee future successes

Requirements

  1. Odinfun wallet

    1. Sign up on the platform https://odin.fun/

  2. Odinfun multi-wallet and PnL parser

    1. Free monitor (top 10 traders) is available in the #top-trader — https://discord.gg/ZZKQU3gEkn

    2. Premium monitor (top 100 traders) is available in the TG bot — https://t.me/odinnator_bot

  3. Odinfun copy trading tool

    1. Free — no options yet, just manual copying

    2. Premium — https://t.me/odinnator_bot (Hold 70,000 ODN/Lock 50,000 ODN in liquidity pool)

How to find the most profitable wallets?

I’m going to use Odinnator TG bot for this. Go to the 📋 Copy Trading → 🏆 Top Smart Traders

You will see a list of the top traders, sorted by PnL:

This list is updated frequently, so it’s worth checking it from time to time. The default parser filters are:

  • Only the last 7d activity included

  • The last trade was less than 1 day ago

  • Traded avg 1+ tokens per day

  • Has 10+ txns

The first page is available for free users, but if you have a premium, I’d recommend going to the 2nd or 3th page for less competition with free users.

Things to look at

The common mistake people make is looking only at the general PnL. The right approach is to do a complex analysis, for example:

  1. Total trades

    1. I’m aiming for <20 trades because I don’t like frequent transactions in my wallets

    2. If you feel more degen, having <100 trades is fine too, but make sure you’re aware of the “Buy only once” option in the config (see the config section of this article).

    3. >100 trades might be hard to keep an eye on, and you also might run out of balance if you use “Fixed” buy (see the config section of this article).

  2. Win rate

    1. I’m aiming for >70%

    2. If you see 100%, it doesn’t mean the user makes no mistakes. He probably never sells his losses. If you have doubts, visit his Odinfun portfolio and activity history.

    3. <50% might be dangerous if you’re using “Fixed” buys

  3. PnL

    1. Higher % PnL is better

    2. Pay attention to the absolute numbers: if the user has 200% PnL on a low size, he’s probably trading low cap tokens. Try to find users with absolute profit that is comparable to your deposit.

  4. Max rPNL for trade

    1. I’m aiming for <250%

    2. If you see >400%, there’s a chance that the user just got lucky once

  5. Last trade

    1. Must be recent

    2. Odinnator has a filter for the last trade to be less than 1 day ago, so we don’t worry about it here

Looking at the history

When you find a wallet you like, it’s a good idea to visit his Odinfun profile to make sure you’re aware of the strategy of that user.

Wallet Example #1

Things I pay attention to:

  1. Total balance/value

    1. It should be comparable to your deposit

    2. You don’t wanna risk your $5k bank copy trading someone with 300$

  2. Buy/sell frequency

    1. Ideally, the wallet should close the deals quickly

    2. In the example above, the user buys and sells in <1hr, taking his profits quickly

      1. WEKEY Buy at 8:53 for 0.003 BTC

      2. WEKEY Sell at 9:16 for 0.00558 BTC

Wallet Example #2

Let’s take a look at another example:

Here, we see many recent buys but not many sells. That means we should expect to hold the position for a few days, which is riskier.

That doesn’t mean the wallet is good or bad — that means you should know what to expect.

UPD: Odinnator is now displaying unrealized and realized wins and losses, so you can see how many positions remained open

Beware of rugs

Some users might seem like they're making profits knowing when to buy and when to sell:

I recommend checking a few of the tokens to make sure the person is not trading rug pools.

In that case, this user is buying and selling quickly from multiple accounts, trying to create visibility of a trending token and attract other traders. Quickly after that, he sells:

Copy trading setup

Here, I’ll be covering only the automated copy trading since it's way less time consuming and scalable than manual. I’m gonna be using the Odinnator TG bot for this.

Configuration

To set up your config, you should go to the 📋 Copy Trading → 🆕 Add new config

Then you paste the user id (e.g. fzezj-6httz-4mogd-wbadt-mfuwj-3luln-j6yii-dhumt-tmtou-75al5-7ae) and go the the config page.

Sizing

The main thing to keep in mind is how to size your buys.

My recommendation to split your deposit into 50 or 100 pieces and make sure you don’t spend more than 1/50 in a single trade. You can use the “Max Buy” option or the “Buy Fixed” strategy.

You can also use a combination of “Buy %” and “Max Buy” to make sure you don’t buy more than the original trader.

Buy % — Copy a percentage of the target user's trade amount.

Other settings

I will not go much into details for the token filters here, since it really depends on your strategy.

For all the settings and details, you can check out the Odinnator Copy Trade documentation.

Launch and monitoring

When you’re ready, click on the “🔴 Status: Inactive” button, and your config will start working.

I usually run 4-6 configs in parallel:

For each copied trade, you’ll be receiving a notification:

Make sure to keep an eye on this and replace the unprofitable configs with the new ones.

Final thoughts

Select the wallets carefully, pay attention to the tx history and holdings, experiment with configs and do not put all your deposit at risk — and you’ll be fine.

If you have questions or need help configuring your copy trading, ask in the Odinnator community Discord.
